Trash Talk: How to Tackle Plastic Pollution

Abstract
Grades: 9-12. Subjects: Earth Science | Environmental Science | Oceanography Students will carry out a cleanup of their school campus, collecting and graphing data about the trash they find and learning about problems associated with plastic pollution along the way. Then, based on their observations from the cleanup, students will have the opportunity to complete an action project by planning and implementing a behavior change campaign to reduce plastic waste at their school.
