Abstract
"Rough Draft" is an honors thesis film written and directed by Caitlin Clements, a film studies major at the College of William & Mary. The film centers on a young screenwriter/classic film enthusiast named Charlotte and the budding romance she forms with an employee of a used bookstore as they attempt to piece together the life story of Tom Montgomery, a WWII-era screenwriter whose final work was lost when he was killed while serving overseas.
