Abstract
This index was prepared to summarize, identify and cross-reference biological research in order to identify the present level of research efforts. Because of the large number of individuals and agencies involved in Bay research, the indexing effort was limited to the following sources for which project descriptions exist: RANN-supported research at the University of Maryland and Virginia Institute of Marine Science, The Rhode River Project, and current research (non-RANN) efforts of the Natural Resources Institute and the Virginia Institute of Marine Science.
