Memory Dress: Fiction and Nonfiction Inspired by Fukushima

Abstract
My project is an anthology of stories, both fiction and non-fiction, that will attempt to address issues raised by the disaster in Japan on March 11th, 2011, which resulted in the loss of billions of dollars of damage and thousands of lives. I examined my own role as a cultural outsider, as well as explored the difficulties in making this disaster relevant for an English-speaking audience.
