Abstract
In this research I explore the political roots and implications of lesbian pulp-fiction, which were cheap and widely accessible books popular during the 1950s. I explore the authors, texts, and reader reviews to argue that creating and consuming lesbian pulp-fiction was a political act in the context of the homophobic 1950s.
