Abstract
This study provides a historical development of Organización Barrial Tupac Amaru from 1999-2016 and explores how the goals of indigenism as an ideology influenced how the group operated before the arrest of their leader in 2016. This project uses the Wayback Machine and YouTube videos as the means to analyze Tupac Amaru revealing alternatives in studying repressed groups.
