Abstract
To depict the extent of suitable habitat for striped bass age-0 to -4 across a range of environmental conditions, six years between 1996 and 2019 were selected to represent relatively low, high, and average thermal (warm, average, cool) and hydrologic (wet, average, dry) conditions in the Chesapeake Bay. Habitat suitability maps for each age class, survey, and season combination studied for juvenile striped bass are provided as data layers suitable for GIS use as .asc files for each of these six years. Habitat suitability indices were estimated using procedures described in Dixon et al. (2022; see associated publication below). Maps depicting the persistence of suitable habitat for each age class, survey, and season combination are also provided as data layers suitable for GIS use as .asc files. Procedures used to calculate persistence of suitable habitat are also described in Dixon et al. (2022; see associated publication below).
