About This Journal
The James Blair Historical Review, or JBHR, is the College of William and Mary's premier undergraduate historical journal. The JBHR publishes historical essays from undergraduates that focus on analyzing primary sources and engaging substantially with secondary sources. JBHR accepts submissions from undergraduate students from recognized institutions across the US and UK. In all things, JBHR maintains a commitment to the high standard of excellence set by the William & Mary historical community and to the promotion of accessible, meaningful historical knowledge.
