Abstract
Fashion has repeatedly been an object of artistic interest and critical thinking. This body of work explores representations of fashion in art through a collection of case studies to curate a selection of collaborative collaborations that exhibit the complex, often reliant nature between art & fashion. Through the thread woven across periods and disciplines in the arts, one thing has been certain; fashion has remained an everlasting source of inspiration and a method for engaging with human history through the visual lens of artwork.
