Abstract
In anticipation of the increasing capabilities of quantum computers, we attempt to create quantum algorithms for two systems of interest. We find a set of 720 algorithms for the Korteweg-de Vries (KdV) using a perturbative scheme. This was done by altering an already known nonunitary algorithm, similar to how unitary algorithms were found for a previous equation, the Nonlinear Schrodinger (NLS) equation. Attempts were also made to create a unitary algorithm modeling Maxwell's Equations, by modifying a prior nonunitary algorithm, to less success.
