Abstract
"Extensive travertine deposits crop out along Falling Spring Run, a small stream located northwest of Verona, Augusta County, Virginia (Figure 1). These massive deposits extend throughout the valley and floodplain of the creek. They provide an excellent place to study the distribution, mineralogy, and geologic history of the travertine-marl present."
