Abstract

Continents apart, two aging women embark on a journey to the Nepalese Himalayas to fulfill their shared dream of hiking to Everest Base Camp. Both grapple with the story of their intense and imaginative girlhood friendship and the horrific way in which it was torn apart. A narratively experiemental novel about a relationship that defies all notions of reality.
