Abstract
This thesis explores the representation of war by the francophone author by examining the works of Leïla Sebbar, Leopold Sédar Senghor, and Jean-Luc Raharimanana. Through an analysis of works by these authors, this thesis challenges readers to consider how war has historically been represented and why.
